Earlier this year I spent a week up in a Sea Ranch, California on a self-guided artist residency. On a cold, misty evening I installed this light artwork along the banks of a small creek in the mountains. By the time I was done it was dark, and a powerful storm began to whip the mist about in gusts. I was so entranced by the movements of the wind and mist I barely noticed how miserable the weather was becoming. When all my batteries died and I had to start packing up it felt like I woke up from a dream.
